NO STAMP DUTY TO PAY for first time buyers on properties up to the value of £300,000.

From 22 November 2017, stamp duty land tax will be abolished for first-time purchases up to £300,000. The existing rate of 5% will apply between £300,000 and £500,000.

There are also many other options which are available to which you might not be away of.

Firstly, the Government backed Help to Buy schemes may ideal for you if you need a little extra help to buy your new property. The government could give you a loan of up to 20% of the value of your current property! This may be the difference between you being able to afford your dream property or not. And with Barwood abolishing the Stamp Duty, you may be able to get your dream home.
